Apply generously 15 minutes before exposing yourself to the sun. Apply to all skin exposed to the sun. Use a water-resistant sunscreen if you swim or sweat. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Sun protection measures. Prolonged exposure to the sun increases the risk of skin cancer and premature skin aging. To decrease the risk, regularly use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher and other protective measures including limiting the time you are exposed to the sun, especially from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and wearing long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.
